Pour les orientaux, les cheveux sont en relation étroite avec l'énergie vitale d'une personne; il convient donc de choisir un jour propice pour la coupe des cheveux; les jours favorables sont les 8e, 9e, 10e et 11e jours du calendrier lunaire (ces jours correspondent, en général, aux 4 jours qui suivent le premier quartier de lune;
les 26 et 27 sont aussi très bons pour cette activité. Il faut cependant éviter ces jours s'ils tombent un samedi ou si ce sont des jours du Cheval, du Chien ou du Tigre.

Many persons believe that there is a direct relationship between the hair and the vital energy. According to the tibetan astrology, the favorable days for cutting hair are the 8th, 9th, 10th and the 11th of the lunar calendar;
also the 26th and the 27th are very good. However, these days should be avoid if they fall on a Saturday or if they are Horse, Dog or Tiger days.
